WHO AM I AND WHAT IS THIS BLOG?

I'm Catherine, a follower of Jesus for about as long as I can remember. Yes, we've had our ups and downs, but my life is much better when I'm walking with Jesus by my side. I'm a Christian of the Evangelical variety for the most part. Overall, the Great Commandment to "Love God and Love Others" will keep us headed in the right direction.

I am wife to Patrick and mom to Lydia and Christopher. I worked for ten years as a family physician until chronic migraine made me leave the world of medicine. After that, I took over homeschooling my kids. Now that they are working and in college, I knit and read in between migraines. I also have two cats whose goal in life is to drive me nuts - and they're succeeding!
